My 28 year old son asked me recently if I'd give him a painting lesson!
Other than a lot of doodles and drawings along the way,
he's never taken any art classes and certainly never painted with oils before.
I couldn't think of anything more fun to do on a rainy afternoon!
I did a quick demo to show him how to break the subject down
in to big shapes in the correct value.
Like a puzzle.
He donned a beret and went right to work!
I couldn't believe how easily he "got it"!

Oh my gosh this is the cutest thing ever! And he is so good and nailed those values! I believe it is because he has a great teacher! And the beret is just the best!
