Log Blog

During the full moon tide this weekend, a huge log washed up on the beach.

"Bumps on a Log"
10 x 12

It occurred to a friend that it would be fun to take a picture of it
every day to document what happens to, and around it.

(I couldn't resist painting this one! )

Day #1

Day #2

Day #3!!!!!!!!
Can't wait to see what happens next.

  1. A one-a-day time lapse... what a brilliant idea! Any public spot would be interesting, but this log on the beach is terrific. So is your painting of the 3 bumps. You do sun-struck so well. But I always wonder how you can see the colors without going blind.

an e-mail I get from them. They are awesome!

  3. another great one...you really have a handle on abstract shapes that define the figure and add a punch to the painting

  7. Too funny - what did happen next? I'm half expecting a carving of a bear or maybe something more nautical - a mermaid?
