The GJWP challenge this month is
"sunlight".
Good Morning!
6 x 8
My personal challenge here was to create the feeling of sun light
in a subtle, soft, warm way.
(Instead of my usual exaggeration of strong light and shadow patterns)
The added challenge of mixing up all those colorful whites,
was a treat as well!
Here is my palette.
Our posts are due at the end of every month,
which lands on Easter Sunday.
I for one, am as happy as can be, to see this month end!
Can't wait to see what the other GJWP artists interpretations are.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the soft sunlight, Nancy.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on saying goodbye to March.
I've always loved the song-
"April come she will
When streams are ripe and swelled with rain"
Simon & Garfunkel
I'll be humming it all day now.
Beautiful subtley to those tones, Nancy. I won't be sorry to see the month go either.
ReplyDeleteso different but really nice painting...the end of this month means the end of skiing for me...not excited about that, but on to the next fun thing and I am anticipating flowers which is so worth looking forward to!
