My goal in 2017
is to continue to paint as often as possible,
and only for the pure joy of doing it.

It's been liberating to allow myself
to experiment and discover new ideas,
without the pressure of painting for a show, or a gallery,
or to please someone else.
The good ones will find homes eventually,
and I can't believe it took me this long to realize that.
