We did a five value scale
in pencil this week in our
drawing class at Linden Ponds.
I then set up a simple object under a
strong light source.
They were to draw an outline of the obvious shapes
of different values
and assign one to each section.
I'm continually amazed at how quickly
(and willingly)
these total beginners work.
It's a gift to see them discover the
joy of seeing.
