More Trees

This was inspired by a recent post of Laura Daniels,

her stunning painting of a path in the woods. 

I'd had the image for this in my 

"pictures to paint" file since last fall. 

I wanted to simplify it as much as I could

and still get the sense of light,

so I made everything around the yellow leaves

darker and cooler.
